Unfortunately, as is sometimes the case, the payphones number was no where to be found. I tried to get it from the operator but it seems phone companies will not tell you (under pain of death) what phone number you are calling from. Later on I found that dialing 311 usually spits it out at you but it doesn't seem to work on all phones. I wonder if anyone knows a sure fast way of getting the phone to give you this privilaged information why they are so set on keepingcompany to give you this "privilaged information" and why they are so intent on keeping it from you.
