[I posted this message last week, on comp.protocols.misc AS WELL AS on
this part of the net:  however, I don't know what happened to it here--
maybe it got fried ...] 

I am currently working on a project between the U. of Waterloo, and
Bell Canada.  The "ALEX" Videotex Database uses NAPLPS graphics, and
I am in need of some help in creating animation with this standard.
I have tried macros, but they proved to be much too slow; blinks do not
work, because the objects to be animated overlap (eg: a book opening up).
 
If there is anyone out there who knows how to do these things in NAPLPS,
I would appreciate the help.
