As far as I know, the IBM C compiler is still scheduled for release
"soon" (early 1990, I think).  I also just today received a flyer from
a company called Amalgamated Software who have announced a product called
Diploma-C (get it?), a C compiler for the AS/400, shipping in about the
same time frame as IBM.
