Mike, I totally agree with you. I was only trying to point out what it
was like when I was at school (79-82) and how hard it was to teach and learn
the new ideas of CS let alone new languages. So the approach then was
to give them one or two languages and then teach them the fundamentals that
they could apply using those languages.
