Camp) Organization: Washington University (St. Louis) Lines: 16 I was exiting elm, when I got impatient, so I pressed ^Z and typed 'bg' to get my prompt back. Elm stopped with tty output, so I entered 'fg' but it just hung. After a while I tried pressing ^C to make it stop (I had by now made a copy of my spool file). It refused to stop. I quit the shelltool window it was in, and although I did not realize it right away, it was still active. I removed /tmp/mbox.david and tried to reenter elm. It said it was trying to read the mailbox while mail was being received, and gave up after 7 tries. I eventually killed the elm task that was still running, but it still gives me the same message. Please help. -David- -- Bitnet: david@wubios.wustl ^ Mr. David J.
