Efficiency in the header-summary-generation code constrains us to avoid testing every From: address against the alternates list, but an additional test of that list when the current username matches should catch most of the currently-incorrect cases. It'll still fail if you use "alts *", which in effect tells mush that your user name is unique in all the world.
