Hello net world

As a part of my study, I'm going to make a project that's include a
modem. For that purpose I have looked at Sierra Semiconductors
chip set SC11004/SC11014 and controller SC11007. (I only need 1200 Baud)

Before I begin the actual design, I would like to hear if any one have had
any good or bad experience with these components.
