Well, I finally remembered to bring in my info sheet from the EIT I took in NY in Fall 88. The requirements for EIT are: Education (one of the following): 1. Have graduated or be within 20 semester credits of graduation from an acceptable engineering baccalaureate program (accredited by ECPD) OR 2. Possess the combination of an unacceptable baccalaureate engineering degree or an approved baccalaureate degree in engineering technology, mathematics, or a basic science, _and_ a Master's degree in engineering from a department which offers at least one approved undergraduate engineering program. --Andy Stevens aes@zeppo.att.com
