Has anyone heard any more about NCUBE since the June announcement of their
second generation hypercube? 

The announced performance numbers are as follows:

    Full Blown System: 8192 processors, 27 GFlops, 60,000 MIPS
    Single Processor:			3.4 Flops, 7.5 MIPS

The new cube claims to run UNIX Sys V on each processing node. Along with
that, a major data base vendor co-announced a transaction processing software
package.
