There are a number of programs available for PC-type machines, both commercial and the usual bulletin boards. I'd suggest using whatever system that is used among the people that you are likely to interact with. The LDS are working on a system that you may find worthwhile. I have a system that I have written that is intended to handle deep (>10 generations), cross-linked family trees, if you're interested. I'm also interested in swapping data with others regarding such families.
