In both cases, it was a major pain the butt to get it to work correctly with Word Perfect. The Amiga was one I sold to a customer and I suggested the DL2400 because of the beautiful output it does. As for the 3400, if it works as good as the 2400, I would say to give it a try. The one hooked up the IBM is my mother's machine (can't say I agree with her taste in computers) and it seems to be quite reliable and well made. She purchased that printer because it was the one they were using at the college where she was taking her word processing/database/spreadsheet classes. Angie
