I'm currently having troubles with my HardFrame 2000 and REV 6 Amiga 2000 (it constantly gives me read/write errors). The service dept of the dealer I bought it from has been out for a week (and still is...) and rumors were abounding about what could be wrong, pullup resistors, bad U605 chips, etc. So I decied to contact Dave Haynie (one of the famed architects of the current Amiga 2000). I wrote my letter in haste, late last Friday night on my ailing Amiga (with AmigaBasic's "Terminal" program). It was full of typos and was badly worded. However I come back to work this Monday morning and to my pleasant surprise I had received a long, well worded and thought out explanation of the past 2000 REV problems and fixes and the current quandry with the HardFrame. I was completely impressed! Thanks Dave! (just one thing, if you're listening, Dave: could you tell me who I could/should contact about this problem since you are not directly handling it?) --Lee (...!boulder!spot!tramp!hunt)
