Sorry to take all of your money like this, but there is a problem with the O/S on the DN10000 that will cause the registries to go away for a while, usually about 20 minutes and then come back. The problem has been corrected and there is a patch tape for the DN10000 with a new domain_os and domain_os.map on the tape. You can get the tape from your normal channels. > >If I still have my dollar left after you try this, I'm rather %&@!!! There is also a problem with the /sys/ethernet8_microcode as stated above, However you will most likely only run into the problem if you are running both DN3000/DN4000 and DN10000's in the same network. There is a patch available for this problem as well > >I normally don't like to rag on Apollo, but let me just suggest >that alot of the gab on the net about REALLY sending customer >bug reports, patch lists, etc. should really be taken seriously. >Alot of people have sweated days, not hours over this bug. >That shouldn't have happened. > Could people on the net please send me some e-mail and let me know if it is worth their while if I post the index for the patch tapes once a month so that people could se what patches are availble. This is not per say my responsibility at apollo, however, I feel it might be helpful to those on the net if they were more aware of the patches that could be obtained.
