PLEASE DON'T waste bandwidth sending copyright software to APPLE2-L as we cannot forward it or archive it. I know Apple system software IS available for download from *some* (licensed!!!!) sites, but we are NOT one of them. I suppose we could find a way to constitute ourselves as a "club" (anyone want to start paying dues?) and get a license (anyone want to volunteer to contribute the fee?), but it's really not that difficult to find a source for Apple system software. It would be nice if Apple.COM haad some server software that would reply to emailed requests for those of us without ftp . DEC's decwrl.dec.com is running an archive server; maybe the code can be made available to Apple.COM?
