I wanted to post a plug for Supra Modems. I bought my Supra 2400 baud modem
about 18 months ago for less than $150.00. It's worked great until
lighting came in on it a few weeks ago. I called Supra and they said to
send it in. I was surprised that a company selling such inexpensive
equipment would even have a repair department. They replaced 3 ic's
and the power supply. The total charge was $25.00 and I had the modem
back nine days after mailing it to them. Supra turned out to be a very
nice company to deal with all around.
