My original config was my Apple // SCSI card is slot 2 and the Localtalk box connect to the modem port. I kept a switch box on that port to switch between my Zoom 2400 modem and the AppleTalk box. (I had mentioned about problems with Proterm but I am not worried about that right now.) I tried to print to the laser and would most of the time get only 1 page printed before I get a dialog box saying the document could not be printer. Sometimes I would get 2 or 3, but that would be the most. The Network is presently setup with 3 Mac+, 6 Mac SE's, 3 Mac II's, and 3 Apple ][gs's including the computer I am talking about. I have not tried printing on one of the other ][gs, but will try tomorrow. When that configuration didn't work, I switched the Appletalk Box to the Printer Port and put the switch box on that to switch between the LaserWriter+ and the Imagewriter II. When I tried to print, got the same results. When I booted up System 4.0 from floppy and ran the copy of AWGS off the HD, I printed a 23 page document with no hitches. I get interrupted using 4.0 by the Mac traffic on the Laser, but the document did print completely. Also, my HD is an 85M Seagate ST-296-N. It works like a charm, but I am having problems with the power switch. I would probably recommend that anyone building their own HD should avoid the Tulin case until they do something about the power switch. Does anyone at Claris have any answers?? I will try a few more things tomorrow with the other computers and with different fonts to see if I get any results. FYI I am setting up the documents in Courier 10pt with a Zapf Chancery Header and a Courier Footer containing the Page number. Can having Possible screwed up fonts cause this Problem?? Thanks in advance!!! ________________________________________________________________________ George A.
