It sounds like a good enough deal ($79 and my old original Apple*WRITER* disk for Aworks 3.0). Anyway, I have a ][+ w/ 320k (and 768k of empty sockets), an (videx-type) 80 column board, an extended keyboard (capable of generating open apple and closed apple along with lowercase), printer, disk-drive, etc. I take it Appleworks 3.0 still won't work on a ][+ without a patch. So, my question to the net is: >>>Is there some software similar to "Plus-works" that will patch Appleworks 3.0 to work with a ][+ and videx card? A friend used a version of Plus-works, but it couldn't handle any Appleworks revision above 1.3. What about the software sold by Applied Engineering that they package w/ their 80-col board? Will that deal w/3.0? Either post your replies, or send them to: braun@cs.purdue.edu -Thanks! m@ (Matt Braun) -------------------------------------------------------------------- GS Owners complaining about the new ROM? Ha! Trade for a ][+ and _then_ look at the world!
