I've had the thing for a few years, and I've been waiting until I had the time to mess with it. As I enter graduate school, I realize that time will never come, so I'd like to start now. Specifically, what commands will the handler recognize? Is there a way to connect the audio line from the 800 directly to the phone line (if so, I could hang and A/D off of it, back in through the joystick ports, then put the modem in auto-answer mode, answer the phone with a speech synthesizer, and digitize the messages (or even use an old cassette player, but how to make it rewind)? Thanks, in advance, --AndY YbnA-- "Just another half-baked thought from a lukewarm mind" Gack! There's a spy | Andy Hulse | hulse@iris.ucdavis.edu in my empire! | ...ucbvax!iris!hulse
