According to my manual Flash has 3 modes
VT-100 (the only one I used when I used flash)
VT-52  (stock Atari mode)
VIDTEX (graphics mode ala CompuServe)

Now I use UNITERM almost exclusively! (I bought Flash so I could
download UNITERM 1.0- First/Last time I used Flash; so-kay its
just that I like the kermit protocol in UNITERM and I had LOTS
of trouble with the kermit.acc that came with Flash- but Xmodem
on flash works fine).
