Although the need for this much caution for vegetarians has been downplayed recently; I still read the old vegetarian scare-lit which says "Combine your proteins or else" Anyway, I know that a deficiency of certain amino acids can drastically alter brain function -- causing depression, etc. What I was wondering: Can over-the-counter amino acid supplements have any effect on mood, either thereputic or recreational?
