A previous attempt to go to 4.2 was waylaid by the fact that that 4.2 lacked a printer driver for his NEC LC-860+. WordPerfect just wrote back to me (shock, amazement !!! A software company that ANSWERS letters ) and provided me with an LQP02 driver for 5.0. They are looking into a solution for the 24/25 line problem. So the only remaining problem is: how well does the CB/5.0 combination work? Is video redirection needed? Is the screen writing speed acceptable? disk I/O? Many of these thing could be determined by experimenting, but Don is on the North Coast while I am down here midst bugs, drugs, and cocaine Cowboys. Of course if you have the Suitable Solutions upgrade, let me know that. BTW, these machines have 10meg/892 k, if that makes a difference. -- Flash!
