Has anyone successfully ported the GNU C++ compiler (aka g++) to the
Series 800 machines?  I looked at part of the README and newcrt0.c files
for g++ and noted dependence on both gcc and, most troubling, a lot of 
assembler code in the newcrt0.c file (mostly MC680X0).  

If anyone has completed the port, please reply directly by e-mail to
arrange an exchange of info/files/??.  I'll post a summary to the net
if interest warrants.

BTW, my system is an 825 running HP-UX 2.1  (3.1 is due here Real Soon Now)
