Calhoun) Distribution: usa Organization: Kansas State University, Dept of Computing & Information Sciences Lines: 20 I am stuck while trying to convert two programs to run under MicroSoft FORTRAN. Can/will anyone help? Problem 1: I need to use the COM port. What is the FORTRAN equivalent ========= of the BASIC statement OPEN "COM1:300,N,8,1" AS #2 Problem 2: My MS-DOS manual says FORTRAN has a method of invoking ========= INTerrupts, but I can't find it in the FORTRAN manual. I suppose I can always cobble an assembly-language subroutine or function and link it in, but I'd prefer to use a built-in method if possible. Any help will be greatly appreciated. --Myron -- Myron A. Calhoun, PhD EE, W0PBV, (913) 532-6350 (work), 539-4448 (home).
