I have a Toshiba portable in which I want to upgrade the hard disk. By all appearances, a higher capacity disk that is electrically and physically compatible is obtainable from Conner Peripherals, and I think that a little work with a screwdriver will accomplish the switch. But the Toshiba ROMs don't include any low level formatting routines (e.g. C800:0000 through CFFF:000F ain't there). There IS support in the ROMs for the particular drive that I want to put in. Suggestions for high quality low cost software would be much appreciated. Please use email; I'll be happy to summarize to the net. Norbert
