Message-ID: <1243@rlgvax.UUCP> Date: 24 Aug 89 16:38:50 GMT Distribution: na Organization: Computer Consoles Inc, Reston VA Lines: 13 I am looking for a list of AT I/O cards that support proper use of the IRQ for the parallel port. If one does not exist, I will start one from responses. The rules are simple, the card must support IRQ5 and/or 7 when not busy and do it reliably. (so many are NOT reliable; therefore most print drivers poll either in hardloop or use the clock tick methodology). We are (want to if possible) write a printer device driver based on the printer interrupt. The we need to know if there are any I/O cards available that will do the job correctly.
