Zau) Distribution: na Organization: Microsystems Technology Laboratories, MIT Lines: 19 I am in the process of installing a Dell 310 (20MHz 386) to our network. It has 1Mb extened memory, logitech mouse (serial port 2) and a 3C501 card (Interupt 5 base memory 300H). Our network runs PC-NFS. It seems like that there is some problem with this configuration. The system sometimes refuse to load the NFS serving , the mouse sometimes crash and running Lotus freelance also causes problems. We have a Dell 310 w/o extended memory, bus board logitech mouse and 3c501 w/ PC-NFS that runs fine. SO I am very perplexed by the problem with the new 310. Can anyone suggest some cures?? Thanks in advance. -- ************************************************************ Gavin Zau Dept of Chemical Engineering, MIT gavin@caf.mit.edu mefl@eagle.mit.edu
