Keywords: IBM AT hard drive table Message-ID: <7565@ecsvax.UUCP> Date: 25 Aug 89 14:48:17 GMT Followup-To: `poster Organization: UNC Educational Computing Service Lines: 17 For an old IBM AT, I am trying to locate the table which contains the dimensions (e.g. meg, cylinders, heads, etc.) of the 15 or so drives compatible with the original ROMs. I have looked in the AT Guide to Operations and the Setup portion of the Diagnostics program and can find no chart or table. Is there somewhere else I should look? If not, might someone please E-Mail me such a table if you have it handy? The machine is one of the original 6 Hz IBM ATs with 20 MB CMI disk that we are planning to upgrade with a 40 MB drive from a Zenith AT compatible (this drive is 40 MB with 5 heads and 922 cylinders, don't know what brand - type 10 in the Zenith ROM setup). Thanks in advance. And thanks to all who replied to my other previous queries about upgrading the HDs in these mach- ines. M Volow, VA Medical Center, Durham, NC 27705 mvolo@ecsvax.UUCP 919 286 0411
