This is a plug in the wall modem packaged with IBM Smartcom software. The modem's standard connector is a Mac din-8 with IBM DB-9 and DB-25 adapters included. I have tested this modem somewhat and found it to function properly on both Macs and IBMs. The kicker is that it has NO speaker, so you can't monitor a call by listening to the modem.
