I use it on my 24-pin LQ-800 and it works fairly well. It's not quite as fast as a real-true-blue Imagewriter--- but it's loads faster than a Grappler. Print quality is tolerable in draft mode, pretty decent (though real slow) in top quality. You can even use the resident fonts in the printer, which speeds things up enourmously. Price for the Epson package is $60-$70---plus whatever you pay for a 24-pin printer.
