Message-ID: <17568@ut-emx.UUCP> Date: 24 Aug 89 15:33:16 GMT Reply-To: dnewman@ut-emx.UUCP (David Newman) Distribution: usa Organization: UTexas Computation Center, Austin, Texas Lines: 13 I recently checked my internal apple 20MB hard disk out with Apple's Disk First Aid program. (an older SE with 2.5 MB and the version of DFA that came with system 6.0.2). The funny thing was that DFA tells me my drive is not an HFS disk; I haven't had any trouble with the disk (I was just testing ... kind of a preventative maintenance thing), so I'm confused about what this means. The disk is clearly HFS (the little dot shows up in the folder windows, DFA has reported the disk OK in the past, and I have never reformatted the drive). So, can anyone clear me up on this? Thanks, >>Dave
