Hi!  I have a Mac SE-20 at home and like to leave the icons of the most
frequently used applications/documents lying on the desktop (although
they belong to nested folders.  Problem is that whenever my kids use
my mac to play games, there is a high probability that the icons will
end up in the Hard-Drive folder, and I have to rebuild the configuration
of my desktop by hand.  I do not know why exactly this happens, but it probably
has to do with the fact that game software often uses proprietary versions
of the system/finder files and that must interfere with the desktop file
stored on my hd.  Anyone knows about fixes?  Stephane
