(Please let me explain.) I have a fairly old version of the program that runs fine on my 512K unenhanced Mac. Unfortunately, it does not run on my new IIcx. However, you can put the game in demo mode by reinserting the scenario disk instead of the master disk. This works even on the IIcx. However, the key disk routine bombs on the IIcx if the master disk is inserted when it asks for the master disk. The bomb is ID=1. I believe the game would work fine on the IIcx, if the key disk routine was eliminated. If it's not too expensive, I would be interested in a new version of the program, but in the mean time, I would like to patch Wizardry so I can continue to use it. I really like the game, and I'm anxiously awaiting the chance to purchase the further scenarios for the Mac, if and when they become available. I certainly hope they are in the works.
