Message-ID: <728@pmafire.UUCP> Date: 28 Aug 89 19:16:32 GMT Reply-To: geoff@pmafire.UUCP (Geoff Allen) Organization: WINCO, INEL, Idaho Lines: 20 I was making some overhead transparencies on my Mac (SE, System 6.0.2, 1 Meg., ImageWriter II) and formatted them in Times, 24 point. When I got them all formatted like I wanted, I went to my 'local' Apple dealer (50 miles away, but that's another story) to print them on a laser printer. The 24 point Times on the SE/30 (boy is it fast!) at the dealer was bigger than my 24 point Times, so all my formatting was screwed up. The dealer wasn't sure what was going on. He did mention the need to use 'tall adjusted' when preparing a document for eventual laser printing, but he didn't think that explained the difference. The printer was a LaserWriter IINTX, and both computers were running Word 3. So, why was Times not Times? -- Geoff Allen, WINCO Computer Process Engineering {uunet, bigtex}!pmafire!geoff ucdavis!egg-id!pmafire!geoff So, what's the latest price for 1 Meg SIMMS?
