They were wondering how to use it. Well, you can't have two apple partitions (on an apple disk, at least, using HDSetup [I THINK!]), but you can delete the old partition and make a new single, larger partition. NOTE: This destroys all the files in the partition that you are deleting, so be sure to have a backup! I have an apple 40SC hard disk in my Mac II, and noticed that there is actually about 41 meg on the disk, the extra 1 meg being "free space", so now I have a 41 meg drive...big deal, but every megabyte helps... NOTE: I don't think you want to delete the partition marked as the driver, or some such thing... Now my question -- is there any harm in allocating ALL of the disk space for the apple HD partition, or does it not matter. - -= Allon =- - -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is a test of the emergency signature system.
