Subject: Mac IIx Boot Problem

When I start my Mac IIx, instead of booting I get a scale of one long chime
followed by four shorter ones, rising in pitch.  Does anyone know what this
means?  The Mac was shipped cross country recently, maybe this caused it? I
tried obvious things like using the reset button,reseating internal connectors,
and trying to boot with everything disconnected except for power.  Any help
you can give is greatly appreciated.
