I am a user on Portal and thought I'd let everyone about the contest running 
here. They basic rules are that cash prizes are being offered for uploading
files. The top prize is $1024, with other prizes of $512, $256 etc all the
way to $1 for last place...smile. From what I can see there is not much
competition for the prizes yet so it is up fpr grabs. If you have TeleNet
access and a good collection of PD software you could win some cash easily. I
run the Mac area so Im not allowed to participate...argh. Check it out!
Portal can be accessed via PCP or TeleNet as 'C PORTAL' or at
408-725-0561 8-N-1 2400 baud. They also offer public TeleBit access for a 
nominal charge.
