The question simply is, has anyone gotten "uugetty" to work under RISC/os 4.01 reliably with all features and priviledges attendent thereto. In other words, with full modem control (SIGHUP and HUPCL both working) and dial-in/dial-out capabilities. My situation is that we've got a Mips 120-5 running 4.01. I've got one modem on tty3 and one on ttyd16 (digiboard). The modem on tty3 allows dial-in/dial- out, but does not send SIGHUP to any active process when the line goes down. The modem on ttyd16 will send SIGHUP, but will not allow uucp to ever send any characters TO the modem, though it will READ from the modem. Please help. Out modems were hung-up all weekend because the feed to our major uucp site got cut off and uucp never reset. Thank you in advance for ANY help that ANYONE might be able to offer. Mips has *SUPPOSEDLY* been looking into this for over a month, but I've *NOT HEARD A SINGLE, STINKING WORD* out of them. I wonder why we give them all this money for nothing!
