Recently the light in the monitor went blank, and I am unable to use this machine, although the printer and processor still work. The system is around 10 years old. I was worring if anyone out in netland could answer a few questions? I am wondering if the light going out on the monitor is a common problem. If so, how might I attempt to repair the monitor myself? Who manufactured the display monitor for this IBM 6/452 office system? Could you please provide the name and address of this company? Also, I am thinking about salvaging the printer to use with a IBM clone any suggestions how might this be done? Any info would be helpful.
