i do a lot of printing through a postscript printer attached to a sun,
via a remote-printer entry in the next's printcap file.  this worked
splendidly until a couple of days ago.

now something's broken.  all my print jobs show up on the remote host
as being 0 bytes long (and produce no output).

any idea what might be going on here?
