On the Sparcstation version of 4.0.3 Sun has left the entry for the
Exabyte out of the table of recognized device types.  The table can be
found in ....sundev/streg.h and is called st_drivetab1.  The information
in streg.h for Sun-3s can be used as a guide for patching ...OBJ/st.o.

I'm going to be doing this later today on a Sparcstation at a customer's
