Message-ID: <1100@brazos.Rice.edu> Date: 17 Aug 89 18:15:18 GMT Sender: root@rice.edu Organization: Sun-Spots Lines: 16 Keywords: SunOS Approved: Sun-Spots@rice.edu X-Sun-Spots-Digest: Volume 8, Issue 107, message 7 of 16 I have a device which would like to occupy at least 128Mb on the VME bus. Unfortunately, the SunOS doprobe() routine panics with "out of kernelmaps" when booting. By trial and error I have found out that 4Mb is accepted, but not 8Mb. Why this limitation? How can I overcome this (without sources)? Machine: 3/75, SunOS 4.0.1. Thanks, /Pell -- "Don't think; let the machine do it for you!" -- E. C.
