Physics Computer Services Lines: 26 -Message-Text-Follows- I just recently purchased a used Tandy 6000 and had two questions: - The XEN*X manual says if the 'shutdown' command to warn other users of the impending shutdown in XX minutes and the computer will then shut itself down. The manual also notes the use of sync; /etc/haltsys to shut the system down. If I use 'shutdown', do I need to use other command? - The version of XEN*X I am using is 3.02. Can anyone recommend a XEN*X or UN*X reference book for this version? The 'currect' Microsoft books seem geared twards XEN*X 3.2 on PC's. Thanks!
