I recently FTP'ed the distribution .tar.Z file for GNU eEMACS 18.54, and
have been unsuccessful in my attempts to get it to run on my 386/ix 2.0.2
machine. I fixed a minor problem with sys/types.h being included more than
once, and it compiles just fine. However, when I run it under X, it works
the _first_ time, but if I exit it, and then try running it again, I get a
bus error, and it dumps core. Occasionally, I get segmentation violations as
well. Is there anyone out there running GNU EMACS 18.54 (or 18.52) under
386/ix? If so, I'd very much like to talk with you and see about fixing this
little problem I'm having. (Once again, as the site where I have my account
