Where can I find a description of the format of a BSD 4.2 object
file?  I've looked in a.out(5), but it doesn't mention anything
about whether an executable follows the same format as an object
file, or vice versa.  Does a.out really contain enough
information for ld(1) to resolve all internal and external
references?  If so, does that mean that you can link executables
the same way as a .o file?
