The situation, plain and simple, is that I would like to know if the Athena widgets can display characters with diacritics (e.g., cedilla, umlaut, circumflex, etc.). I tried to 'relabel' some of the keys on my Sun (using xmodmap) so that some of the function keys would be bound to diacritics, but the Text widget won't display them as diacritics. On the other hand, it seems as though the HP widget set does support diacritics. At least when I use Xwebster (which uses the HP widget set), I can see the diacritics I type. So will the X Toolkit support diacritics, or does it already and am I missing something? Any information would be greatly appreciated, including info on *any* toolkits that support diacritics.
