The kill function, at least on my reader (nn), can kill by the name of the poster as well as by subject, and can be set as a permanent fixture. So if someone is really bugging you, instead of going to all the pain and anguish of getting him banished off the net, simply banish him from your own newsfiles by putting a permanent kill by user name in your kill file. If this guy is really deserving of such drastic action, then everyone else will also put him or her in a prominent place in their kill files, and the person in question will find that his postings somehow never get answered...... This is known as banishment by attrition. -- Avery Ray Colter avery@well.sf.ca.us 71067.606@compuserve.com {apple,lamc,lll-winken,cogsci,hplabs,pacbell}!well!avery "....Fat-Bottomed Girls, You Make the Rockin` World Go ROUND!" -Queen
