I had been sort of a low-level (but high-volume) user of USENET for the past five months, and when I saw the nice things that you could do with macros, it inspired me to learn more about rn in the past day than I had over the past five months. One problem that took me a while to figure out is that when I included comment (i.e. "#") lines in the RNINIT file, it caused the reader to ask me if I wanted to read every newsgroup in my .newsrc file, even if there were no articles there. This is fixed when I remove the comment lines, but I'd like to have some way of noting in the RNINT file what is going on. Any suggestions? ____________________________ Jim Oliver oliver@athena.mit.edu oliver%mitwccf.BITNET@MITVMA.MIT.EDU
