I don't like waiting around while all six washers have a load just sitting there after the wash is over. I once removed someone's clothes and put them neatly on a (clean) table nearby, then started my wash. I came down 1/2 hr. later, only to find that (presumably) the a**hole whose clothes I'd removed had held some grudge against me and had switched the machine off, leaving my clothes soaking in detergent.
