I'm looking for a (relatively) inexpensive weather instrumentation package for the college here. I note that Heathkit has listed a board that will plug into a PC or clone that measures the usual parameters except relative humitity (pre-assembled from Magnaphase for about $400 with software). I have also heard that the Heath ID-5001 has quality control problems, so would not be a good unit to use. Does anyone have any suggestions along these lines (say, at less than $1Kilobuck)? Thanks in advance - please respond either here or via E-Mail. - Bob Wier College of Engineering Flagstaff, Arizona Northern Arizona University ...arizona!naucse!rrw | BITNET: WIER@NAUVAX | *usual disclaimers*
