i have been informed that a shuttle launch is scheduled for 18 dec 89.
is this true?  how does one go about getting nasa permission to view
the launch from some "advantageous" place.  given the winter date, what
are the odds that the launch may be rescheduled (due to weather conditions,
etc.)?  thanks for your help.
